Educational Qualification : 
(i) A bachelor’s degree in Science obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared as deemed to be a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and
(ii) Have passed the X-Ray Technician course conducted by the Government Institute or a Medical College recognised by the National Medical Council;
(c) Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification (General) Rules, 1967; and
(d) Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Age Limit :  
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 36 years

.

Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government guidelines:
- General Category Female Candidates: 5 Years (Max age 41)
- Reserved Category Male Candidates (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS): 5 Years (Max age 41)
- Reserved Category Female Candidates (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS): 10 Years (Max age 45)
- PWD General Category Male: 10 Years (Max age 45)
- PWD General Category Female: 15 Years (Max age 45)
- PWD Reserved Category Male: 15 Years (Max age 45)
- PWD Reserved Category Female: 20 Years (Max age 45)

- Rs. 400/- For Reserved Category (SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, Female, PwD, Ex-Servicemen)
