Educational Qualification :
(i) A candidate shall possess –
(a) Bachelor of Rural Studies (except Bachelor of Rural Studies in Home Science) /B.Sc.(Agriculture) / B.E. (Agriculture) /B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) / B.Sc. (Horticulture) degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or declared  to be deemed as a University under section 3 of  the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 ; or (b) Diploma in Agriculture or Horticulture or Agriculture Engineering or Agro-processing or Polytechnic Diploma in Agriculture Co-operation Banking and Marketing obtained from any of the Agriculture Universities incorporated or established by or under the Central Agriculture Universities Act or a State Agriculture Universities Act in India;
(ii) the basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and
(iii) Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Age Limit : A candidate shall not be less than 18 years and not be more than 35 years of age.

- અનામત કેટેગરીના પુરૂષ ઉમેદવારોને : ૫ વર્ષ (મહત્તમ ૪૫ વર્ષની મર્યાદામાં)
- અનામત કેટેગરીના મહિલા ઉમેદવારોને (૫+૫=૧૦) : ૧૦ વર્ષ (મહત્તમ ૪૫ વર્ષની મર્યાદામાં)
- સામાન્ય કેટેગરીના શારીરિક અશક્તતા ધરાવતા પુરૂષ ઉમેદવારોને    : ૧૦ વર્ષ (મહત્તમ ૪૫ વર્ષની મર્યાદામાં)
- સામાન્ય કેટેગરીના શારીરિક અશક્તતા ધરાવતા મહિલા ઉમેદવારોને (૧૦+૫=૧૫) : ૧૫ વર્ષ (મહત્તમ ૪૫ વર્ષની મર્યાદામાં)
- અનામત કેટેગરીના શારીરિક અશક્તતા ધરાવતા પુરૂષ ઉમેદવારો (૫+૧૦=૧૫) : ૧૫ વર્ષ (મહત્તમ ૪૫ વર્ષની મર્યાદામાં)
- અનામત કેટેગરીના શારીરિક અશક્તતા ધરાવતા મહિલા ઉમેદવારો (૫+૧૦+૫=૨૦) : ૨૦ વર્ષ (મહત્તમ ૪૫ વર્ષની મર્યાદામાં)
- માજી સૈનિક ઉમેદવારો : સંરક્ષણ સેવામાં બજાવેલ સેવા ઉપરાંત બીજા ૩(ત્રણ) વર્ષ (મહત્તમ ૪૫ વર્ષની મર્યાદામાં)

Application Fee of GPSSB  Gram Sevak Recruitment : 
- સામાન્ય વર્ગ (જનરલ કેટેગરી) ના ઉમેદવારે અરજી ફી Rs. 100/-ભરવાની રહે છે. આ માટે ઉમેદવાર ઓનલાઇન SBI e-pay ના માધ્યમથી અરજી ફી ભરી શકશે.
- નીચે મુજબની કેટેગરીના ઉમેદવારોએ કોઇપણ પ્રકારની અરજી ફી ભરવાની રહેશે નહીં.
1. અનુસૂચિત જાતિ (SC)
2. અનુસૂચિત જનજાતિ (ST)
3. સામાજિક અને શૈક્ષણિક રીતે પછાતવર્ગ (SEBC)
4. આર્થિક રીતે નબળા વર્ગના ઉમેદવાર (EWS)
5. માજી સૈનિક (Ex-serviceman) તમામ કેટેગરી
6. શારીરિક અશકતતા (દિવ્યાંગતા) ધરાવતા ઉમેદવારો (PWD) તમામ કેટેગરી
